The Taking of Pelham 1:23

Looking forward to seeing this film at a theatre with a very big screen.


Tony Scott screened the preview for us at the wrap party, drawing cheers from the cast and crew (action packed, as you'd imagine). This version is very much it's own- a different sort of movie from the original, Tony's stamp all over it. Denzel Washington plays Walter Garber, John Travolta plays the bad guy, James Gandolfini as the Mayor, John Turturro as the lead hostage negotiator.

Did costumes for this job with Renee Ehrlich Kalfus. Had the biggest thrill/fright as we took our MTA subway track safety class and were sandwiched between two moving trains in a tunnel in Brooklyn. Not where you want to be for any length of time, but this made for the most adrenaline rushes in prep of any film I can remember...
