A little catch up on my last couple of years... Assisted Michael Kaplan, (one of the costume designers of "Blade Runner") on Francis Lawrence's "I Am Legend".An amazing experience- Will Smith, Alice Braga, an army of creatures, real and virtual. The world of CGI effects, blue and green screen has come unbelievably far in the last few years and it was a treat to see the best working their craft.
All that, the National Guard and thousands of background performers (temperatures that seemed below zero as we filmed evacuation scenes under the FDR Drive)...
File under the "you and what army" category- I'm inside the tank in the center of a crew of some of the assistant costume designers who helped control the look of our flashback scenes.
